Wolf of Wall Street Movie

Director Martin Scorsese is planning a movie adaptation The Wolf of Wall Street, an upcoming financial thriller movie based on the memoirs of Jordan Belfort. Actor Leonardo DiCaprio will have the lead role as Jordan Belfort. There's no release date yet.

For those who don't know him, Jordan Belfort is a former white collar criminal who spent 22 months in jail for offenses related to stock market manipulation and running a boiler room: he founded the brokerage firm Stratton Oakmont in the late '80s and ultimately went to jail for financial fraud. While working hard to steal other people's money, Belfort still had time for a hard-partying lifestyle, he also developed a serious drug addiction.
